Police Records Management

The department employs two records specialists who are responsible for the review, filing and dissemination of police record information. They are responsible for maintaining the files of home and business alarm systems and the enforcement of the Town’s alarm ordinance. They organize and prepare records for public dissemination, superior court and juvenile court. They are responsible for maintaining South Windsor’s criminal history database.
