From July 16 - September 3, the Teen Center will be CLOSED Saturday Nights
It will Reopen on Saturdays on September 10. The Teen Center will Still be Open During the Summer on Friday Nights, 6pm-9:30pm.

Monday-Thursday 2-5 p.m. - High School
Friday & Saturday - 6:00 - 9:30 p.m. for Middle School Youth ONLY PARENTS ARE REQUESTED TO COME INTO THE CENTER TO PICK UP THEIR CHILD



What is the Teen Center?
The Teen Center is open to South Windsor Youths, 11-19 years old. We offer a variety of structured and non-structured activities six days per week, 52 weeks per year. The Teen Center also regularly participates in community service activities.
One full-time and several part-time supervisors oversee and monitor the Teen Center. Participants are expected to register annually and sign in each time they come to the Center. To assure the safety and well being of all participants, rules of contact are posted and enforced by all Teen Center staff.
What is There to Do at the Teen Center?
Some of the activities that are available at the Teen Center include, billiards, foosball, and ping pong. There are also video games such as Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Ice Ball, and Dance Machine. A TV and DVD player with DVDs are available as well as table games and basketball. In addition, participants can purchase snacks and beverages. In addition, special events and tournaments happen every month.
Teen Center Youth Council
The Youth Council Committee members help to evaluate Teen Center programs, brainstorm new ideas for activities, and assist for special events and community projects. The committee meets weekly during the school year. Students interested in serving on the committee should call (860) 648-6360.
Teens Making a Difference - Service to the Community
The South Windsor Teen Center is actively involved in several community service projects. Teen Center youth participate in:
Cornerstone Soup Kitchen
Peter's Retreat
Enfield Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen
Intergenerational Activities
Fundraising
Teen Center youth are involved in several fundraising events. Funds raised are used to enhance the Center and to support worthy community causes. The Teen Center's annual Thomas Finn Achievement Award, given to a South Windsor High School senior who has overcome personal obstacles, is involved in the community and is going on to some form of higher education.
