	NOTICE: Propane tanks will no longer be accepted! Propane tanks will no longer be accepted with the scrap metal pick up. Peterson's Hardware will take old tanks for a fee and Agway and Blonstein's will also accept old tanks for a fee. The Department of Public Works will make every effort to have requests submitted by noon on Tuesday scheduled for pick-up on Wednesday. Place scrap metal out to curb by 7:00 am Wednesday. Pick-ups that do not meet requirements and/or have additional fees may not be scheduled in the same week. Submission here does not constitute a guarantee of service. If your needs require confirmation/fees/special requirements please call Public Works at 860-644-2511 ext 343. Items marked with ** have additional requirements for pick up. Items marked with $ have fees associated with them. See Scrap Metal Page for details
