John is married and has five (5) children. He has lived in South Windsor since 1979. John is a former Scout Leader, and currently serves as a Little League Coach.
As an avid blood donor, John has donated over 14 gallons to date, and is a Red Cross volunteer. He and his family are members of St. Francis of Assisi parish family.
He is a graduate of the "Tool & Die Apprenticeship" from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft where he worked for 36 years while assuming positions of increasing responsibilities. His career was highlighted by his receipt of the 1998 "Pratt & Whitney Leadership Award." He also has several patents pending relating to his tooling career.
Presently, John is employed by Belcan Corporation as a Program Manager overseeing critical military programs for Pratt & Whitney. He was also a former Vice President of the State Council of Machinists, and an Executive Board Member of I.A.M. Lodge 1746.
Prior to moving to South Windsor, John served on the Hockanum River Resources Development Commission and the Citizens Clean-up Committee in East Hartford.
John is a past Chairman of the South Windsor Condo-net and is currently serving his 20th year as the President of the Pleasant Valley Condominium Association; and, prior to his tenure on the Town Council, served the Town of South Windsor as a Member of its Economic Development Commission.
John is presently serving his fifth term on the South Windsor Town Council in which he served one term as Deputy Mayor.
