Responsibilities:  The Tax Collector's Office provides billing and collection of real estate, personal property, and motor vehicle taxes.  We also bill and collect sewer assessments and sewer usage.  The office operates under the authority of the Connecticut General Statutes.
Online Tax Payments:  Taxpayers now have a quick and convenient way to pay taxes.  Make online payments for real estate, personal property, and motor vehicle taxes as well as sewer use charges.  You can view and pay bills and see payment information for tax purposes.  Sewer Assessment bills are not available online at this time.
Note:  Payments made online will be reflected the following day.
During the months of July and January you may experience lines at Town Hall.  You should expect to wait in line if you are coming during this period.  Lines are longest at lunchtime and as the last day to pay approaches.  When paying in person, please have all your bills with you for faster service.

Currently the debit/credit machine is not available in the Tax Office but it is available on our town website.

All delinquent motor vehicles have been reported to DMV.  If you need to renew or register a vehicle, please contact the office if you paid it late.
