Residents are reminded that second pass leaf vacuum collection started on November 18th. This will be the last pass of the season. Residents are urged to rake their leaves to the curb as soon as possible for the last collection.

Collection is affected by weather conditions and by the residents’ potential to rake. This may alter the schedule causing the crews to be ahead of schedule or behind schedule during the program. Please continue to check the hotline or our website www.southwindsor.org for the latest updates to the pick up schedule. As a reminder the leaf drop off site at the town garage on Burgess Road is open 7 days a week for your convenience. The second and last bag collection will be on Saturday December 5th. Please have bags out at curbside the Friday prior to collection.
